Breanna or Bree for short is a recent graduate from K-State with a Bachelor's in animal science. She also volunteers regularly with the Purple Power Animal Welfare Society. Bree is starting at University Veterinary Care Center as a veterinary assistant and has recently enrolled in Colby College to pursue her RVT credentials.
When asked what motivates her to do this job, she told us
"I love to see the special bond between owner and pet and I want to do anything I can to strengthen that bond."
Dr. Amanda Utt, an Oklahoma State University graduate, is the newest addition to the University Veterinary Care Center family.
Dr. Amy Guernsey-Youngblood started at University Veterinary Care Center as an associate veterinarian in 2013 and just three years later she became a co-owner with Dr. Gratton.
Dr. Gratton attended Kansas State University and since 1994, he has practiced veterinary medicine in Topeka, Kansas at University Veterinary Care Center.
