Stephanie Baxter

Receptionsit
Stephanie Baxter

Stephanie, a 2016 graduate of Washburn University, joined the University Veterinary Care Center family in August of 2020 as a receptionist. She recently made a career change from the fast-paced health insurance sector to the veterinary field in a position that encompasses two of her biggest passions: animals and helping others.
A little fun fact about Stephanie, she enjoys cosmetics, decorating her home, reading, enjoying a good sci-fi movie, and of course spending time with friends and family.

When asked what excites her most about the new position, she told us

"I am at my best when I am serving/nurturing another. Being able to go home every evening, as a pet parent myself, and know that I played a role in giving back to the pet companions and their families of our community is the kind of fulfillment I've always searched for in a career."
