Orthopedic Surgery

  • Spays, Neuters, Mass Removals, etc. are done Monday through Friday to meet your scheduling needs.

  • Here at UVCC we use a Luxar Surgical CO2 Laser for reduced blood loss and reduced post-surgical pain and discomfort.

  • General anesthesia options are based on the patient's condition and health requirements.

  • While under general anesthesia, your pet is consistently monitored by one of our highly qualified Registered Veterinary Technicians.

  • Sterile surgical technique is always followed on all cases and, for the safety and comfort of your pet.

  • Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) repair is done using Securos' Lateral Suture Technique in small, medium, and less active large dogs.

  • Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) repair can also be done using Securos' XGen CCR Procedure, in large and active or athletic dogs.

  • These surgeries can be done either as a sole procedure or combined with Adipose Stem Cell Technology for enhanced repair and reduced post-surgical pain.
