Jordan joined the University Veterinary Care Center family in the spring of 2021, as a part-time veterinary assistant while she pursues a degree in Animal Science from Kansas State University. She has recently moved into a full-time position after the successful completion of her degree.
In her spare time, Jordan enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also loves spending quality time with her german shepherd, Stormee Lee, and domestic shorthair, Chewbacca.
When asked why she chose this field, she told us
"I have always had a passion and love for animals. The idea of taking care of those who cannot do it themselves is honestly what helps drive that passion."
Dr. Amanda Utt, an Oklahoma State University graduate, is the newest addition to the University Veterinary Care Center family.
Dr. Amy Guernsey-Youngblood started at University Veterinary Care Center as an associate veterinarian in 2013 and just three years later she became a co-owner with Dr. Gratton.
Dr. Gratton attended Kansas State University and since 1994, he has practiced veterinary medicine in Topeka, Kansas at University Veterinary Care Center.
