Kristyn Haden, a K-Sate graduate, joined the receptionist team here at University Veterinary Care Center in the spring of 2021. She has extensive animal knowledge, working as a keeper at the Topeka Zoo for over 30 years. When she is not at work Kristyn loves to spend time with her kiddo, reading, growing vegetables, and talking with people about environmental conservation. Kristyn recently became certified in Basic Wildlife Rehabilitation.
When asked what motivates her to do this job, she told us
"I am looking forward to helping ensure that the animals and clients receive the best care possible in every aspect of their visit."
Dr. Amanda Utt, an Oklahoma State University graduate, is the newest addition to the University Veterinary Care Center family.
Dr. Amy Guernsey-Youngblood started at University Veterinary Care Center as an associate veterinarian in 2013 and just three years later she became a co-owner with Dr. Gratton.
Dr. Gratton attended Kansas State University and since 1994, he has practiced veterinary medicine in Topeka, Kansas at University Veterinary Care Center.
