Rose has been a member of the University Veterinary Care Center family for more than 23 years, working as a veterinary assistant. She has led the charge in bringing Fear Free animal handling techniques to the clinic and gained certification in 2017. Her love and passion for animals is evident through her tireless rescue/foster work with local homeless dogs and cats. Of course, some of those fosters have turned into "foster fails" becoming members of Rose's family, making her pack the biggest within the clinic.
When asked why she chose to work in the veterinary field, she told us
"It chose me at birth, I have always had a love for animals since I can remember and I'm very intune with them."
